The 6th Annual Malibu Invitational

Every year I look forward to this amazing event held at Surfrider Beach at First Point in Malibu. The contest was started to help raise funds for the hommie Lyon Herron's battle with Gardner Syndrome. I can't tell you how brave and strong Lyon truly is and it is such a pleasure and inspiration to be at this event as it is so special and dear to all of us who live in the area. Dreaming of The North Shore

It's that time of the year... the best time of the year :: for the surfers who are serious about the sport :: and for girls who want to show off their new couture bikinis and winter bodies. The waves are pumping and the sun is bright & warm on The North Shore of Hawaii. The community is alive and the party is on. Wishing I was there now... but I guess I will have to just settle and dream about it for right now. Sigh.

Keegan Gibbs X Jalama

Malibu local Keegan Gibbs takes some stunning photos and is incredibly talented to say the least. Along with filming the RVCA surf team on a consistent basis, Keegan also captures photos of graffiti artists vandalizing the streets of LA and timeless snaps of the ocean. Check out his portfolio here....

I couldn't help but blog these amazing photos of Jalama Beach that he took recently on a trip up to Santa Cruz. These shots capture the mystic place that is Jalama and reminds me of time spent with Kilian and long walks to Cracks.
