Dreaming of The North Shore

It's that time of the year... the best time of the year :: for the surfers who are serious about the sport :: and for girls who want to show off their new couture bikinis and winter bodies. The waves are pumping and the sun is bright & warm on The North Shore of Hawaii. The community is alive and the party is on. Wishing I was there now... but I guess I will have to just settle and dream about it for right now. Sigh.

Most of the photos are from my tumblr, from the depths of image heaven... video courtesy of Surfline. Also a couple random pics of what is going on over there. Congrats John John- your rip. I wish I could give photo credit to everyone... check out more of my eye candy here.

RVCA on Da Northshore

Danny Fuller creates a sick video of the RVCA team on the Northshore of Oahu this winter. Not only does Fuller have a artistic side to him, but he charges the gnarliest waviest out there. Hope you enjoy it.

North Shore Artist:: Mary Beth

While on the North Shore of Hawaii last winter, I had the pleasure of stumbling into an amazing art gallery (forgive me I can't find the name anywhere) in Haleiwa. It was there where I re-discovered artist Mary-Beth. I first heard about Mary-Beth from my friend Garrett Iaco. He had this stunning Gwen Stefani portrait that she did and I instantly fell in love with her style. Her talent is so refined and soft, that her pencil marks appear to be air brushed. Here are some of my favorites from her site, I might add that the mini mermaids make excellent gifts! I have Ula (featured below) hanging on my wall so I can always have a piece of the North Shore close to me. Aloha xoxo
