El Nopal

Hello Everyone! I know it has been a while and I promise you the new site is coming soon. I have been so busy making art work and working on school projects that it has been hard for me to blog with all the time I have been having to spending on graphic design. I am sure you can understand :) I thought it would be fun to take a break from the computer and worked on a painting for an art show that I will be participating in this Saturday. The theme for the show is Loteria, the Mexican bingo game. There will be over 52 other Santa Barbara artists doing the other cards and I chose to do "El Nopal" or the cactus, commonly known in Mexico as "tunas." The piece is 16" X 20" hope you enjoy the pics and I really hope you can make it by Muddy Waters on Saturday.

Studio Visit with Mad Steez

Stoked to finally get a post up. I have been so busy with my new job at Neff Headwear that haven't really had time to blog it up so here we go...

As part of my new position at Neff, I was asked to go down South for a studio visit with artist Mad Steez. It was such an honor to hang out with him for a couple hours while my friend Tal and I interviewed him for the viral video that I posted below which highlights his piece in Sesame Street, an art show presented by The Seventh Letter and Neff Headwear benefiting the City of Hope's Pediatrics.  Here are a couple of shots I took in the studio...
