Hautbox III

I am always so impressed with what my friends over at DNA Imagery put together. Last weekend they hosted Hautebox III benefiting Youth Interactive. The event was a major sucess and I am so glad that I was able to make it! The fashion show was really well done and they brought out two mermaids for a live performance which really made me happy! Check out some of the pics below.

Hautebox III

This Saturday, my friends at DNA Imagery are presenting their third Hautebox event at a private estate in Montecito. It will be a great mix of all sorts of creatives including photographers, fashion designers, models, artists and more. The best part about it is that part of the proceeds to go benefit of
Youth Interactive non-profit & to help aid them in continued success of their mission of empowering youth with the spirit of entrepreneurship. DNA has worked closely with Youth Interactive over the past 7 months. Offering mentorship and guidance to young aspiring entrepreneurs at their location in the Funk Zone every week.

You can read more about Youth Interactive & their efforts to help youth in Santa Barbara here: http://www.youthinteractive.us/

Garden Parties and Flower Crowns

Enjoying a lush Montecito garden in the Summertime with friends while eating Swedish Sandwich Cake, playing games, and making fresh flower crowns was a day to that was meant to be captured. My high school friend Blake Bronstand and his girlfriend Pernilla hosted us for the afternoon at Blake's Mother's beautiful home. As fate would have it, Blake is especially talented behind the camera lens and so are his group of friends whom are quite the artistic bunch of Santa Barbara peeps. I had a whimsical day enjoying everyone's company and it felt great getting to know new and old friends again.

Enjoy the photos.

First Thursday Art

The First Thursday of every month is always one to be celebrated in Santa Barbara because we have our monthly art walk. This past week, I made it over to check out my friend Sean Anderson's New Works at The Big Idea above Pink Berry on State and Chadillac Green's Assisted Living at DNA (interview with Chadillac here). As usual, I left the evening feeling inspired from all the talent. Thanks to all the homies that were out and about, love seeing all of you.

The Winter is For Bikinis

A while ago, my friend Derren from DNA Imagery took this photo of me close to Padero Point in Carpinteria. I was stoked on how it came out and wanted to share it with you! I can't wait to go to Hawaii this Winter and watch my boyfriend surf Pipe and spend time with my beautiful family on the Island of Maui. I was really happy to sport my Volcom bikini in this pic, but I am just dying to have a swim suit from Acacia.... Time for the gym!

Bikini Baby

Ok. Woah! So this is my first 'bikini shoot'~ More pictures to come!! I wanted to know that I could do it. So we did it- I was lucky to get a chance to work with  Derren again from DNA Imagery. Derren and Ana (DNA) are incredibly talented when it comes to photography, graphic design, and branding and having been traveling the world for months. D was in town for about 5 days and we were able to whip this one out before he and Ana left again. Make sure to check out their site and blog HERE so you can really see what they are all about.
